American country starlet Carrie Underwood got her first top 20 hit here in Australia with her last album 'Play On' almost three years ago. And with her new album 'Blown Away' released into stores on Friday, she'll no doubt be hoping to replicate, if not better that result.
Chugg Entertainment is hoping to build on the momentum, with the announcement today of Carrie's first ever Australian tour, taking place later this year.
She'll play shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Australia's home of country music Tamworth and with relatively intimate venues announced, tickets are expected to be highly sought after when they go on sale on Monday May 14.
June 26 : Melbourne (Palais Theatre)
June 29 : Tamworth (TRECC)
June 30 : Brisbane (Convention Centre)
July 02 : Sydney (Opera House Concert Hall)
