No change atop the ARIA singles chart this week, with Flo Rida whistling all the way to the bank, but it's a different story over on the albums chart, with an old favourite returning to take top spot.SINGLES
Things are completely stagnant in the top four this week, with Flo, Carly, Maroon 5 and Ed continuing to shine with their respective singles. Carly Rae goes four times platinum, Maroon 5 picks up a gold accreditation and Ed Sheeran's 'Lego House' gets a double platinum nod.
Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' climbs back to No.5 and Rihanna's soaring with her new single 'Where Have You Been', climbing another seven places to No.6.
Delta Goodrem's 'Sitting On Top Of The World' goes platinum, The Voice contestant Laykn Heperi is certainly the early favourite to take out the show with his cover of 'Big Jet Plane' hitting No.10 and both Pitbull's 'Back In Time' and Reece Mastin's 'Shut Up And Kiss Me' hit gold.
Surging into the top 20 consecutively this week are Usher's 'Scream', Ricki-Lee's 'Do It Like That' and Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' - up to positions 18, 19 and 20 respectively.
360's new single 'Child' continues to improve, surging another 12 positions to No.28; so too Ivan Gough's 'In My Mind' (No.57 to No.32) and, thanks to the performance on 'The Voice', Adele's 'Turning Tables' re-enters and hits a new peak of No.34.
Also smashing into the top half of the charts this week are Conor Maynard's 'Can't Say No' (No.84 to No.38) and The Temper Trap's 'Need Your Love' (No.87 to No.39), while Brittany Cairns' 'The Voice' performance of Adele's 'Turning Tables' is the week's highest debut at No.40.
David Guetta & Usher's 'Without You' enjoys a resurgence (up from No.65 to No.43), J-Lo's 'Dance Again' is into the top 50 at No.44, Skrillex' new single 'Make It Bun Dem' is in at No.45 and David Guetta and Chris Brown's track 'I Can Only Imagine' edges five places higher to No.47.
Outside the top 50, Ian Carey's single 'Amnesia' premieres at No.60, Rihanna's 'We Found Love' is up 29 places, Darren Percival's version of 'Shower The People' enters at No.64, Gossip's 'Heavy Cross' re-enters at No.72 and the Glee Cast's version of 'Shake It Out' is in at No.73.
More 'The Voice' chart action a little further down... Emma Louise Birdsall's version of 'At Last' premieres at No.85 and Ben Bennett's version of 'Fireflies' is in at No.93. Kelly Clarkson's 'Mr.Know It All' (at No.98) notches up a triple platinum accreditation.
ALBUMS
She's dominated the charts for the best part of the last 12 months and with the approach to Mothers Day today, Adele's album '21' is again in favour with the Australian record buying public. Adele reclaims the No.1 position from boyband One Direction, whose album 'Up All Night' falls to No.2. Adele has another reason to smile - the album is now certified 13 times platinum for sales of more than 910,000 copies.
The new Carrie Underwood album 'Blown Away' is the highest debut of the week, coming in at No.4, while just behind her, Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' enjoys a sales surge, up seven places to No.5, while Michael Crawford's 'The Story Of My Life' also enjoys the Mothers Day love, up 21 spots to a new peak of No.8.
Marilyn Manson's 'Born Villain' and Celtic Thunder's 'Heartland' enjoy top 20 debuts at Nos.16 and 18 respectively, while Silversun Pickups just miss a top 20 berth with a No.23 debut for their 'Neck Of The Woods'.
Prince's Australian tour sees his 'The Hits/The B-Sides' climb from No.51 to No.28, 'The X Factor' runner-up Andrew Wishart finds his independent album 'It's Never Too Late' premiering at No.30 and Air Supply's 'The Ultimate Collection' hits is up 39 places on last week's No.77 debut.
Neil Diamond's 'The Very Best Of' is up ten spots and Rod Stewart's 'Storyteller : The Complete Anthology' rises 26, but not such good news for Santigold, whose new album 'Master Of My Make Believe' is down from last week's No.16 debut to No.50.
Outside the top 50, Damien Leith's 'Roy' picks up ground (No.96 to No.62), City And Colour's 'Little Hell' re-enters at No.69 and the soundtrack to the pay-TV series 'Smash' premieres at No.71.
Storm Corrosion's self-titled set debuts at No.73, Christina Perri's 'Lovestrong' album slumps 36 places to No.76 following her Australian promo tour, B.o.B's 'Strange Clouds' fares even worse, plummeting 46 spots from last week's No.32 debut, but slightly brighter news for Australia's original pop princess Judith Durham, with her 'Australian Cities Suite' in at No.81.
Birdy's album drops another 38 spots to No.86, the 'Avengers Assemble' soundtrack plunges from a No.37 debut to No.93, while there are three further debuts - Julio Iglesias' '1' at No.94, The Dandy Warhols' 'This Machine' at No.97 and the Beastie Boys' 'Licensed To Ill' at No.100.
