NEW DRAGONETTE SET TO FLY

Canadian electro three piece Dragonette has assured its fans globally that its brand new single 'Let It Go' will be made available "everywhere" as of tomorrow. We'll wait patiently (and, to be honest, a little excitedly) to see if that "everywhere" includes Australia. (Alphabeat... We're still waiting!)
It'd be a shame if the track didn't pop up in our local digital stores, to be honest, 'cause the new single is a glorious fresh and fizzing pop number with plenty of spark, spiky synths and a driving beat.
'Let It Go' is the first taster of the band's forthcoming third album, which lead singer Martina Sorbara is clearly excited about.
"We came at this record wondering ‘How does this whole writing thing work again?’,” she said in a statement. “‘Do we actually know how to do this part of our job? Are we ever going to write another song?’, and so on. But now somehow, miraculously we have a whole album's worth of songs that we all love and can't wait to unleash on stage and in stereo.”
Given Dragonette's success here in Australia via their Martin Solveig collaboration 'Hello', their stocks have risen greatly in recent times, so let's hope they don't forget their Aussie fans when the single drops.
