GARBAGE : Blood For Poppies

Crunking guitars and a cacophony of percussion are the order of the day for the new Garbage single 'Blood For Poppies'. The track, lifted from the band's forthcoming album 'Not Your Kind Of People' is now available at the local iTunes store and gives a little indication of what to expect when the album drops here in the middle of May.
The video for the single also arrived today - a moody, grainy black and white number that opens with Shirley frolicking on the beach. The boys of the band, meanwhile, have dressed to the nines for a night on the town and end up playing chess, taking up astronomy, heading into the great outdoors...
It may have been five long years since their last release, but Shirley's looking and sounding as fresh as she ever did.
