SHUSHI! IT'S STOOSHE!

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing to you a young trio of female pop vixens that the team at Warner Music hopes you'll be falling head over heels in love with over the next couple of months. Their name is Stooshe (pronounced like 'sushi') and they've already conquered the British charts with this, their debut Aussie single 'Love Me'. Of course, not ones to shy away from controversy, the original title of Alexandra, Karis and Courtney's track is a little more blue, substituting the word 'love' for a word that starts with 'F'. And we're not talking 'fiddlesticks'.
Featuring Gym Class Heroes' Travie McCoy in a guest spot, the track slammed the British top five on its release there earlier this month and it's just hit radio down under this week.
The thing we like about this is that there seems to be a hell of a lot of attitude and a very strong British sense of humour. Couple that with a super-colourful clip and three girls you can't help but fall in love with and there's no doubting the Stooshe appeal.
There's a little moment in the clip (about 70 seconds in) where there's a little giggle. It reminds us of the very opening stanza of the Spice Girls' debut 'Wannabe'. Cheeky, carefree, bright and fun pop is what both of these are about. Chuck in a splash of Charleston and it's a big tick from us.
